Pretty interesting but kind of funny/relatable book

Now, this is a very interesting book. As a person that definitely loves Asian women, I found this to be rather entertaining as well as informative. It gives some very interesting tips on how to get her attention as well as keep her attention. I thought it was very interesting but made sense with certain qualities such as keeping a clean mannerism like clean socks, clean cut or demeanor. One issue that always arises in the dating aspect is meeting the family. There are some Asian families that are very traditional, so getting into an interracial relationship might be a slight hurdle. I've had this trouble once before, but simply being a genuine person with some strong values goes a long way. It does a great job of going against the stereotypical things and has some depth. If you don't believe what's in the book, you'll at least have a very entertaining and different approach to start your conversation with the Asian girl of your dreams.

The culture has always been problematic for me

Like Jerry Seinfeld, "I've never dated someone from the Pacific rim," but I'd like to because I've always been intrigued by Asian women and two of my buddies at work both date Japanese girls and are extremely happy. Although I've never had problems getting dates in general, I think my hesitation and some cultural differences have always been my stumbling block with Asian women. They are so beautiful to me, and their attitudes and general outlook of like is so wonderful and my lack of being around them much makes me hesitant. I am THRILLED with this book!!! How to Date An Asian Woman is truly an insightful book, not just to get a date in the first place but for how to understand Asian women, their culture, their desires, and to focus on being what THEY want instead of just focusing on my own wants of wanting to date them. I have learned a lot here and I have no doubt that I have a far better chance at achieving my elusive "dream date" now.

I love my Lord dearly, and have turned completely away from the things of this world. My life revolves around prayer, obedience, and evangelism.

It was my desire to get back on track with God; it was my destruction of my sinful possessions; and it is my dedicated prayer life and my obedience to God that has set the enemy on the warpath with me. As the son of three generations of preachers, I know how this works. You are either decidedly for Jesus Christ, or you are on the side of the enemy.

One time after smashing and destroying some of my sinful things, I remember I declared to Satan in a very loud and determined tone of voice, "in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ I declare war on your kingdom of darkness!" As I would soon learn, the devil was listening....

Spiritual Warfare is real!

This book can be easily read in one sitting. Do not let that make you think this book is a lightweight! I have read several things about spiritual warfare, but this book makes it so easy to understand. It explains how a Christian can do battle with Satan and his demons.
It teaches the power of prayer. My favorite quote from the book is a reminder that when Satan was expelled from Heaven he took with him one third of the angels. This means that God has two thirds of the angels to do His bidding. That's two to one! I recommend this book for all Christians who want to make their prayer life more meaningful.

Jesus is power over All! Even evil spirits

I dislike this book because it spoke heresies against the word of God. The author stated that he battled with demons and when he mention the name of Jesus they never stopped, continue to attack. According to (James 4:7) Submit yourselves therefore to God.Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. God has given us Powerful Authority to cast these unclean spirits out! (Luke 10:17) The seventy-Two returned with joy, saying , "Lord, even the demons are subject to us in your name. So by the believer walking in the Authority that Jesus gave us to cast out demons in his name, is the Word of God Henceforth these scriptures support this matter and more . (Matt 10:1, Acts 16:16-18, Mark9:38, Mark 16:16-18) This book also showed a Lack faith in the subject of Fast which is a very strong key point in casting out demons. According to the book of (Matt 17:21) But this kind does not got out except by prayer and fasting. (Luke 2:37; Ezra 9:28-23; Matt 4:4; 17:20-22, Neh 1:4) And the word goes on from the new testiment to the old. I don't recommend this book it promotes fear, error in the word of God and No faith in Jesus.

Very Believable.

Good book for sure. I disagree on some points, but it is personal disagreement. I believe every experience the Author describes, as I've had some of them, myself.

I used to suffer severe depression to where I would just sit in a dark corner and sulk. After recommitting my life to Jesus in 1985, I decided to do something unthinkable in most Christian Circles. One day as I sat in a dark room sulking and weighed down, I resolutely commanded the Spirit of Depression to leave me and never come back again-in the name of Jesus! BING! The lights came on, and the Depression was INSTANTLY GONE! I have never had severe, debilitating depression again!
That was the beginning of my Journey into Spiritual Warfare. I'll never turn back!

There are very few Deliverance ministers out there, but many fakes. Deliverance ministry and Spiritual warfare is something that people most often have to learn by doing-them, and God. Few Churches will get close to the subject. Sad, but true.

This book is a great candid account of the Author's experiences. I enjoyed it very much. I would encourage the Author, and others to connect with Mountain of Fire and Miracles Church, and read some of the great books by Dr. D. K. Olukoya. They have really helped me put the Enamy in his place. Victory can be found ONLY in Jesus!

About the Author
Thomas A. Timberg is a scholar and consultant on economic development. His writings cover subjects ranging from Baghdadi Jews in India to contemproary microfinance and Islamic finance. This book doesn't actually give strategies employed by Marwaris. This is more a list of Marwari families who have set up culture of independent business. Actually they also did policy changes by using corrupt practices with ruling party to benefit their businesses.

I had a lot of expectation when I purchased the book. But the book does not go into specifics and deals mostly in generalities. The language is also not great. One can get a general idea of family firms of India through this book.

The Marwaris - Quintessential Business Families

Somehow, the book just fails to capture the true ethos, enterprise, vision and expanse of the Marwari Community and its immense contribution to business and industry - especially in the Indian sub continent - and almost like the Rajasthan desert leaves one more thirsty than quenched. Much of the book is spent in an attempt at focusing into the origins and family trees of a limited number of famous Marwari dynasties - namely the Birlas and Goenkas.

This book has the most complete coverage of ADO.NET I've ever seen! All data providers are included, even Oracle, and the fact that it uses the latest version of the .NET Framework is very helpful.

Great aid for Java developers moving to .NET

As an experienced Java (J2EE) developer and a database consultant, I needed to quickly pick up ADO.NET competency for a client who was going to use both and wanted a database person who understood the two technologies' approach to persistent data (i.e., database access). I also have experience with (pre .NET) Windows development, so I wanted to find concise, clear explanations targeted above the "newbie" level.
This book turned out to be an excellent resource. I blasted across the introductory material on the .NET framework and ADO.NET architecture and dove into the ADO.NET object and method explanations and examples, especially the material relevant to MS SQL Server, which was the DBMS for my project.
The book's organization and many clean code snippets made it very straightforward to have a solid understanding of ADO.NET in short order. More advanced issues will take more time to fully "grok", but I was able to cover the first level well before my client required me to.

Great read!

Clinical research mornitoring provides an insight into what a clinical reseach associates does on those visits. I've heard a lot about CRA and have been wanting to know more. The book talks about the different types of visits cras go for, and from what i've read it seems that after the qualification visits, there is an overlap with the other visits. im in the medical field and definitly can handle these visits, but every cra job ad i see talks about experience.
i now came across a new book by the same guy that literally takes you by the hand and walks you through the process of applying for a cra position even without experience.its called cra jobs for science degree holders, rns and imgs. so far so good. It has a section on how to handle interviews which i find very interesting. I'll write a review on it once i'm done.

This book gives you basic idea of what a CRA does. If you are curious about CRAs related jobs, it can curb your curiosity quite well. As author says, this is why this book written, and it serves to that purpose well.
